Nominations for Incoming Students

This applies to Erasmus+ students from partner universities as well as exchange students from non-EU partner countries.

Students must be formally nominated by their home university before applying.

If you would like to initiate a mobility stay at Sting, please reach out to our Erasmus+ Coordinator at erasmus@sting.czWe will gladly work with your institution to establish an Erasmus+ agreement if one is not yet in place.

Incoming Mobility – Erasmus+ Students

Planning to study at Sting through the Erasmus+ programme? First check the following with your home university:

  • Ensure that your university has an active agreement with Sting.
    • If not, your Erasmus coordinator should contact us at erasmus@sting.cz
      to begin the agreement process.
  • Ask about your home university’s nomination and selection procedure.
  • After we receive your nomination, you will receive an official Acceptance Letter.

Application Procedure for Erasmus+ Students from Partner Universities

Students coming from Erasmus+ partner universities do not pay any tuition fees.
To apply, please submit the following documents (electronic versions are sufficient):

  • Application Form (online form: insert link here)
  • CV in English (.docx)
  • Motivation Letter in English (.docx)
  • Learning Agreement submitted online at: https://learning-agreement.eu
  • Passport-size photo (.jpg)

Application Procedure for Exchange Students from Non-EU Partner Countries

(e.g. Taiwan, Georgia, USA, Kosovo, Chile, Ukraine, Armenia, Morocco)

Exchange students from STING’s non-EU partner universities do not pay any tuition fees.
To apply, please submit (electronic versions only):

  • Application Form (online form: insert link here)
  • CV in English (.docx)
  • Motivation Letter in English (.docx)
  • Learning Agreement submitted online at https://learning-agreement.eu
    or uploaded as a PDF file
  • Passport-size photo (.jpg)

All documents must be sent exclusively in electronic format (.docx).
Other formats will not be accepted.

Application Deadlines

English Language Requirements

Incoming students are expected to have at least B1 level of English to follow courses taught in English.

Accommodation

STING does not operate its own dormitories.
However, the Erasmus+ Coordinator can assist incoming students in securing accommodation in privately rented apartments.

Typical monthly costs:

  • Shared room: 350–650 EUR
  • Single room: varies depending on availability

A refundable deposit is usually required by landlords; it will be returned on departure if the apartment is left in acceptable condition.
